Facilities: Our Chapel and Dining Hall, both in daily use, date from the 13th Century when the site was occupied by a Dominican Priory. In addition there are 6 comfortable, modern boarding houses, a 250 seat theatre, a 20 station IT suite with internet access and a wonderful refurbished library with additional PCs. There is a separate 6th Form Centre. In addition to the huge expanse of outdoor playing fields adjoining the College, there is a large fully equipped indoor sports hall, tennis and squash courts, an all-weather pitch, climbing wall, fitness suite and a small heated outdoor swimming pool. There is an extensive range of extra curricular activities to include choirs, jazz band, orchestra, string group, golf, a variety of water sports, debating, ballet, CCF, D of E Award Scheme and Young Enterprise. For many years pupils from overseas have been a familiar and valued part of the Christ College community. Approximately one sixth of our pupils have parents who live overseas. We have an EAL Department to support these pupils wherever necessary.
Setting: The school occupies an enviable site of 39 acres on the outskirts of Brecon. This is a safe, small market town within an outstanding area of natural beauty and with the famous Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains close by.

Scholarships: Following a large bequest, a large number of science scholarships and bursaries are available in addition to our range of art, music, sports and all-rounder awards.
Entry Requirement: 11+, 13+ : tests in Mathematics, English and Verbal Reasoning. 16+: 6 x GCSE grade C and above. A current school report is required from all applicants.
