  Colchester High School
At Colchester High School, we have built up and maintained a strong reputation for offering a first class education. Our policy of developing the potential of each pupil through small class sizes, dedicated and highly trained staff and a firm focus on individual strengths and achievements has produced examination results that equal or better those of any comparable non-selective school in Essex. Alongside the educational emphasis, we have created a friendly and caring environment for learning which promotes good manners, consideration for others and a strong sense of social responsibility. All this helps each pupil to achieve his or her personal best so that they leave the High School well prepared for the next stage of their education.
