Excellent facilities set in 100 acres of beautiful tree-lined grounds. Sports facilities include 2 all-weather pitches, indoor swimming pool and sports hall, a floodlit 6 lane all-weather athletics track and numerous well sited pitches. The school has invested over £22 million in building and development since 1994 and recent additions include a £2.5 million Art, Design & Technology building, an impressive Library and resources centre and a campus-wide broadband ICT network providing over 500 PCs for pupil use. A new Humanities block and purpose built, mixed 6th Form boarding facility were both opened in September 2005. From September 2009 Bromsgrove will offer the International BaccalaureateDiploma to its Sixth Formers as an alternative to A-Levels. The new IB programme will run alongside a-Levels, giving pupils a more genuine choice. |
